Construction started in the Fall of 2008 and was completed in Fall of 2011. Designed as a tribute to former Vancouver City planner Larry Beasley's vision of sustainablity in this beautiful city. The building took into account, The Homer, a stunning heritage building built in 1913, right on the corner of Homer and Smithe. The facade was kept and the interiors were gutted and will be redesigned to house a trendy lounge and restaurant.
